Slavery, Racism, and Bacon's Rebellion

This episode originally aired in June of 2015. With all the discussion of “racism” in the modern world, I thought it might be timely to discuss actual racism as opposed to the fantastical, watered down definitions currently bandied about.

From the original show notes: This week we look at the various situations of minorities in early Colonial America, the evolution from indentured servitude to outright slavery, and eventual abolition.
