Gordon's Movie Adventures

The History Files Archives: ep 070
1

This episode originally aired in September of 2016. There have been a few minor movie making adventures since then, but films needing large groups of cavalry have pretty much gone overseas or to Canada these days as part of the “runaway production” crisis of the past few decades. The BRASS radio drama (audio trailer here) is available on iTunes amongst other places, and you can hear me (NF) as the diabolical “Madame Tressano” in the first couple of seasons.

From L: The Postman, Rough Riders, Ride with the Devil, The Patriot, Conquering the Americas for the Park Service, Two For Texas, Rambo 3

From the original show notes:

What’s almost as interesting as actual history? Why, making historical movies, that’s what. Today we get into a bit of Gordon’s background working on various film and television projects over the years, and finally answer the age-old question, “What’s more dangerous, water or horses?”
